About Us
LAT (Local Approved Trades UK) was launched as a community service to help everyone within the community. We are aware of the stress and problems caused in obtaining quality service providers.
LAT is not just a trade register that is helping to implement fair trading within the community, by registering as a member we are giving every compnay, trader and service provider that credibility that every business strives and hopes to achieve. Along with the best form of promotional advertising that is low in cost, but high in its achievement.
The community are continuously being made aware of Local Approved Trades UK and what we stand for. Trading standards are also aware of Local Approved Trades UK and what our main objectives are, helping to implement fair-trading within our community.
Our Main Objectives
Key objectives of LAT are :-
- To implement fair and safe trading within our community.
- Working to bring together all companies, traders and service providers promoting quality, safe and fair trading for all
- A stress free way for the general public in our community to source a local company, trader or service provicer
- Making everyone aware of bogus traders and scams within our community
- To promote all registered members helping them reach potential customers within the local community
- All LAT member are fully referenced and have insurances inplace to cover themselves and you, the consumer.
- LAT also providing you very low cost Website Design and Web Hosting
As most of the general public and our members are aware there are many trade organizations forever-hassling companies to join, just to obtain membership fees annually.They carry out no referencing, do not check to see if that company has an insurance in place to cover you, the customer, and themselves.
The companies, traders or service providers promoting themselves with LAT have to meet our criteria of being referenced by their customers and trade suppliers, and have insurances in place to cover the general public and themselves, and have had no complaints on work that they have carried out in the past.
